The Start of our Adventure

Well the day has finally arrived to fly out! After getting up at 3:30 we headed out with all of our parents and Ben and Amanda to the airport.

Right off the bat they tell us our flight was cancelled...

They put us on stand by for a different flight leaving about the same time, but that was full up. We are now booked to fly out to Chicago at 10 AM. So far everything is working out with our other connecting flights. We should still arrive in Taiwan about the same time. (We hope)

We aren't worried. We know we are in Jehovah's hands, and that is the best place to be.

Our Chinese Group Back Home 11-25-12

Here is our Chinese Group in Independence MO on our last meeting with them for 6 months. We love you all and will miss you! We hope to be very helpful when we return. :)

Practicing Driving a scooter

This evening Hannah and I went over to the Brickey's to practice driving a scooter for Taiwan. Surprisingly fun. Hannah was a bit nervous but I picked it up pretty quick like a Jet ski on land :) just kinda weird having breaks. We both drove separately and then together. While driving in Taiwan will be very different I think with just a little more practice we should be OK. Thank you Jason, Monica and Zoe for the use of your scooter and your hospitality!
